SIGHTS AND SOUNDS OF ORDINATION
The church is very vibrant and active in Kenya.
This region I
mentioned in my previous post is under three dioceses – Embu, Meru and Nyeri. On my arrival I had the opportunity to participate in the concluding ceremony of the
year of Faith in the diocese of Meru with the ordination of four young men. This was a long celebration (six hours is too long for a
new comer). But the singing and dancing kept you on your toes.

VESTITION
Vestition: is a religious function in which one receives the habit of a particular religious order in which one plans to dedicate one's life.
Profession: is a solemn religious functions by which a novice dedicates his/her life to god through the vows of chastity, obedience and poverty in a religious order.
THREE NEW CMI RELIGIOUS IN KENYA
On December 8, the feast day of our blessed mother, three young men from Kenya joined the CMI relgious order through vestition and profession. After long periods of prayer and reflection, they decided to commit their life to God and His church. Here are some of the photos of the event:
