VISIT TO SAMBURU NATIONAL PARK, KENYA
An African safari to encounter animals in the wild is very exciting. Here are some pictures of our close encounters with elephants in Samburu National park in Kenya.
There were various groups of elephants in different parts of the park. This one quenching their thirst from the river. As soon as they spotted us - some members protected the little one in the group.
This group was heading to the waterhole. Time for little mischief on the way.
This elephant blocked us to protect the tiny one. He did not move until we turned around.
This majestic male was all by himself grazing far away from the groups.
We were lucky to spot some lions:
a small group were resting under the shade of a bush..
This one ventured out when many vans gathered around.
Pairs and groups of Girrafs were spotted at various locations:
This is typical African Safari shot...
This pair was walking towards our van.
